I spend a lot of time on Netflix… I think we all do some people say it’s a waste of time I don’t care about those people. Not only do Netflix have a ton of series’ to binge watch they occasionally have some classic films but I’ve seen most of them. So here we are a Netflix Original directed by Brent Bonacorso who directed Katy Perry’s Unconditional music video, with a few other short films to his name. This is one of those tacky teen films that act as a guilty pleasure it isn’t a master piece but it did it’s job as a thriller. Set in California it starts of with Halston Sage as Alison and Taylor John Smith as Tyler Hanson, the ultimate “couple goals”. There happens to be miscommunication about previous sexual relations and it all unfolds at a party and BOOM Tyler meets Holly Viola played by Bella Thorne. I think we all know Thorne from her Disney Shake It Up days, she has recently been popping up on the Instagram feed for a while so I was excited to see her in something. I thought she did really well at playing a complete vile stalker she becomes obsessed with Tyler and does anything to get in-between his relationship with Alison. I’d say it was a good film to watch if you have literally drained Netflix and as a thriller I did find it intense and it was scary to consider how unpredictable Thorne’s character was going to be. I always find it slightly cringe when films try to use social media and messaging on-screen, they stereotype teenagers so much…. no one types like that! Thorne really stood out the glares she would give who make anyone panic and I can imagine there are actually girls out there exactly like Holly Viola.
